Harjono Djoyobisono is a photographer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has been photographing very keenly since he was young, and first began serious and professional-level photography while living in Melbourne, Australia, from 2003 to 2007. There, he developed an extensive portfolio of work in his favourite categories of portraiture, landscape, and macros/details. He won several international awards for this.
Since late 2007, he has been working again from his base in Yogyakarta, and has done considerable work throughout Java, and in several other regions of Indonesia. His work has obtained several more prizes, as well as being published internationally. He has undertaken several professional commissions both for private individuals, and for organisations wishing to document their program work in Indonesia.
